Valve Handle Spring (External) with Cabletie (Corrosion "Proof") Not Installed

If you are spraying lots of concentrated acids or bleaches and need best in class corrosion resistance, this should do the trick. (Using an external spring removes the need for the internal spring, preventing direct exposure of chemical to the spring material) Stainless 304. See attached pictures.

Installation

1) Remove the internal spring.

2) Place the external spring between the valve body and handle.

3) Partially tighten the cabletie near the lock mechanism.

4) Slip the spring bottom coil underneath, fully cinch, and rotate the cabletie head inside the spring to lock it in place.
